Week six of the 2025 NFL season

Live coverage features live text for the weekend matchups on various channels, starting with Denver Broncos v New York Jets at Tottenham (kicking off at 2 PM BST). Additionally, audio coverage is available through select stations for another key matchup (beginning at 9 PM BST).

It's week six of the NFL season , following last week's talk about the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles as a potential Super Bowl match-up, each surrendered their perfect starts.

Notable in those games was the amount of infractions both conceded. The Eagles did so at crucial times so they kind of beat themselves having led by two touchdowns going into the final quarter against Denver, set to play in London this Sunday.

However it proved good to see how Denver's QB the rookie was able to overcome the shortfall before direct three scoring drives in three attempts during the final period, to win the victory by four points.

Denver have the top defender with cornerback Pat Surtain II. They rank number one in red zone defence, while the Eagles lead the league in red zone offence, yet Denver prevailed in that battle.

They executed effective strategies regarding simulated pressure. They weren't necessarily rushing extra defenders instead they might position two LBs in the 'A' gap before withdrawing them and dispatch a nickel off the edge.

At the start of the season, we said during a show how Denver could be this season's dark horses. They ended the previous year strongly then did a good job in continuing that momentum.

Are the Denver Broncos this season's underdog story?

Recently acquired tight end their tight end has stepped up big and recent running back their rusher is a player they believe in. He now ranks fifth league-wide in ground gains (over 400) as well as tied for fourth for rushing touchdowns (four).

I love that head coach the Broncos' leader has "RUN IT!" prominently on his call sheet.

This demonstrates how Denver are a team aiming to prioritize the run, because you can achieve much based on that approach. It slows opposing rushes and maintains in favourable down and distances.

It's also helped QB Bo Nix, who entered the NFL as a first-round selection in the prior draft, passing for 29 touchdown passes – just behind a star QB for the rookie record (31 back in 2020).

Josh Allen and Herbert possess the arm strength to throw all over, however they lack in the same way that Nix has. He has exceptional arm talent, a unique trait, plus he's so athletic.

His assets are his mobility, the capacity to pass while moving, as well as using different arm angles to make the pass when he rolls outside protection, the bootlegs. He is able to throw precision throws across the middle or over the corner.

As a rookie QB, aged 25, he displays great composure under pressure and is not bothered by extra rushers. He aims to avoid a sack whenever possible and can throw under pressure. He has a high football IQ and is very decisive.

If you constantly rush it eats up time and forces the opponent to be in play extended periods, and if you have a mobile QB the defense has to defend the area downfield and horizontally. It can be draining.

Nix has bitten back at Payton during games at times and I think Payton appreciates that fire, that he's a fierce rival. I think it's fun for him to have a young quarterback that is similar to moldable clay. The coach can really build something up how he desires to build it. I think it's a unique opportunity for him.

The head coach owns a Super Bowl and now passed a legend in all-time victories (173, tying for 14th). He has witnessed it all. I think the success the Broncos are having offensively is mostly down to his leadership, his schemes, his game sense – and the pairing with Nix helps shape him what he is.

You wouldn't want a more qualified person guiding you, to assist you during difficult moments and boost self-belief.

I have faith in Denver's defence, in Bo Nix's tenacity and composure. Yet is the team good enough to go against an elite team at its best? Since that wasn't championship-level play from Philadelphia in their last game.

Right now, it's unlikely Denver are incredible. They're working above average, which is a good place to be in their division. All they need to do is maintain this path.

They're really good at embracing their forte, that is running the ball, and that's exactly what they should do against the Jets in London. It will likely be the JK Dobbins show, in essence.

New York have allowed 140 yards on the ground each contest (among the worst), five ground scores so far (10th worst), and they are the only team yet to win any game.

Ever since the league began tracking takeaways in 1933, this team are the inaugural squad to be without any turnovers in five outings, this is surprising considering that their new coach Aaron Glenn a defensive coach with another team.

The Chiefs' QB stated the Chiefs are off to a poor start after Monday's defeat to Jacksonville.

After this Sunday's game, the Broncos face a smooth-ish schedule until their break (in week twelve) - the New York Giants, the Cowboys, Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders prior to the Chiefs.

Looking at their division, Kansas City are 2-3 while Denver are even with the Chargers at 3-2 meaning they could challenge at leading the West.

This hinges upon which form Kansas City shows up they meet because the Broncos {beat|def
